Affordable Back-To-School Korean Skincare Regime

STEP 1: Cleanser
Cleansing steps for morning and evening will not be the same. While in the morning, you need to be quick and easy to be able to run to school (yeah I know we all run to school), at night, make sure to remove dirt, oil and impurities is more important.
After a long day at school, remove any makeup and excess oil left on skin from oil-based products such as Heimish All Clean Balm (£14) for every skin type, even sensitive skin or Banila Co Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm – Original (£19) for those suffering from breakout. Following up with a foam cleanser is necessary. We recommend Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam EX (£11) for oily skin and enlarged pores to remove excess oil and cleanse the pores deeply. For normal to dry skin, a low irritant amino acid cleanser like Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser (£15) is a better choice. The Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser keeps your skin moisturized while cleansing your pores.
STEP 2: Toner
Someone might say: “Toner is not necessary!”. Is it really? Using a toner not only helps remove the remaining impurities after cleansing, but also balance and hydrate the skin. The Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner (£20.10) is the second version of Klairs holly gail toner – Supple Preparation Facial Toner which is the best facial toner for gorgeous-looking skin.
STEP 3: Serum
Now it’s time for some treatment.
Having dull-looking skin isn’t exactly what you want, especially when you are about to meet your crush at school after a long summer away. To help you achieve a radiant and healthy skin, look for a serum that provides antioxidant ingredients like Jumiso All Day Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum (£21). Thanks to its natural Vitamin Tree extract, this serum will give you a brighter complexion.
If you are looking for a smooth and hydrated skin, Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum (£21) is the secret. Make your skin glow and look more smooth and radiant throughout your day by replenishing your skin’s moisture levels.
For those who need to calm down their angry skin, look for Some By Mi AHA.BHA.PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum (£24). A true powerful serum infused with 10,000ppm tea tree leaf water that helps soothe and moisturise while minimising pores.
STEP 4: Moisturiser
No surprise, Korean products have many good moisturisers that are not only affordable but also super effective.
Starting with Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream (£22.30) that will provide long-term moisture for a more radiant, hydrated complexion, rescuing your dry, irritated and sensitive skin.
When it comes to oily skin, we recommend COSRX Green Tea Aqua Soothing Gel Cream (£23), a cooling, non-oily gel cream that is infused with Vitamin B5 which has moisturising, regenerating, and anti-inflammatory effects.
STEP 5: SPF
Even as autumn is approaching, the sun and UV rays have never gone away. Never forget sunscreen is the number one skin care tip you should keep in mind. Reapply your SPF at least every two hours both indoor and outdoor.
We love Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++, 50ml, such an affordable sunscreen for anyone who is looking for a lightweight, hydrating sun cream that moisturizes and protects your skin at the same time.
If you have sensitive skin, opt for Some By Mi Truecica Mineral 100 Calming Suncream SPF50+ (£15), a physical sunscreen that leaves no white cast, helps soothe and protect your skin barrier.
EXTRA STEP TO BOOST YOUR SKIN
At least two times a week, treating your skin to a facial mask like sheet mask or clay mask will be an additional step for a healthy-looking skin. Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask Pack (£15) with a choice of 6 different sheet masks ranging from nourishment to soothing and brightening effect, Merbliss Mask Pack has anything your skin needs!
Korean skincare regime may not require 10 or even 11 steps but it focuses more on effectiveness. Moreover, our skincare routine provides a basic need for your skin in order to keep up with your school schedule and keep your skin flawless all the time!
